Access For Everyone

Accessibility Statement

Advocacy only works if people can actually use the information. Tennessee NORML is committed to keeping this website usable for people of all abilities.

Last updated: February 2026

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a practical working standard for this website.

What we do

  • Semantic headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate the page structure
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images
  • Visible keyboard focus and full keyboard operability for links, forms, and menus
  • Color contrast chosen for readability rather than decoration
  • Form fields with real labels, plain language help text, and clear error messages
  • Responsive layouts that work at increased zoom and on small screens

Known limitations

Some content is hosted by third parties, including embedded video and the PayPal donation flow. We do not control the accessibility of those services. If a third party element blocks you, contact us and we will help you get the same information or complete the same action another way.

Report a barrier

If any part of this website is difficult to use, please tell us. Include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or browser you were using if you know it.
