Tennessee NORML is a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization. Contributions or gifts to Tennessee NORML are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Contributions may be used for advocacy and lobbying activity consistent with our 501(c)(4) status.

- Is my donation tax deductible?
- No. Tennessee NORML is a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization. Contributions or gifts are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
- Who processes my payment?
- PayPal handles the entire transaction on its own pages. This website never sees or stores your card details.
- Do I need a PayPal account?
- No. PayPal's donation page also accepts debit and credit cards as a guest.
- Can I give monthly or yearly?
- Yes. On PayPal's secure donation page you can choose a one time, monthly, or yearly gift before you complete payment. Recurring gifts are managed by PayPal, and you can change or cancel them in your PayPal account.
- Does donating sign me up for text messages?
- Never. Text alerts require a separate, affirmative opt in on the Get Updates page, and consent to texts is never a condition of donating.
- Can I give in another way?
- Yes. Email support@tnnorml.org about checks, in-kind support, or partnership, and share accurate information with people who trust you. That costs nothing and moves policy.
