Program Status

This text messaging program is not currently active. You may record your consent now on our Get Updates page. We store the date, time, and exact wording you agreed to, and we will only begin sending messages after the program has been registered and approved with a messaging provider and the wireless carriers. You can ask us to delete your recorded consent at any time by emailing support@tnnorml.org.

Program Description

Subscribers may receive recurring legislative updates, action alerts, event notices, advocacy opportunities, and organizational updates from Tennessee NORML.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies, approximately 1 to 5 messages per month.

Charges

Message and data rates may apply.

Opt-In

Enrollment occurs only when a person affirmatively consents through an approved Tennessee NORML opt-in method. On this website, that means checking the separate, unchecked SMS consent box on our Get Updates page and submitting the form. Entering a mobile number alone does not enroll you in text messages.

Opt-Out

Reply STOP to opt out at any time. After you opt out, we will stop sending campaign messages to that number.

Consent

Consent to receive SMS messages is not required as a condition of making a donation, receiving email updates, obtaining information, or otherwise interacting with Tennessee NORML.

Carriers

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Eligibility

The subscriber must be the account holder of the mobile number provided, or have authorization from the account holder to enroll that number.

Supported Devices and Carriers

Message delivery depends on your wireless carrier and device. Delivery is not guaranteed in all areas or at all times.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this program and how it is used. Tennessee NORML does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Changes

We may update these SMS Terms. Material changes to the program will be reflected on this page.
